Helping the homeless

While in the early stages of setting up this business, Sean and Jonathan always had the homeless discussed in every meeting. “Its a very important social issue, and not one we can ignore” would always come up in conversation. Sean and Jonathan needed a way to integrate this into the business structure, and so began a lifelong campaign to improve the lives of the local homeless people by getting them back into work, and more importantly, back into housing.

Homelessness is a huge problem and one we should all be working together, as a society, to fix. This is why they have included it into the very blueprint of their business plan, and will continue to be high on the agenda.

Homelessness has increased in the UK alone by 164% since 2010; with a total number of homeless people reaching 320,000, which could even be double this figure as we do not know the full scale of the problem.

Widespread evidence from across the globe always correlates homelessness with a decline in health in these individuals, and across England and Wales specifically, according to the office of national statistics, deaths in 2018 had increased 22% from the following year; with average age of death being 45 for males, and 43 for females.
